Biography

Viola moved to Canada and settled in Toronto in 2016. Formerly Christian, Viola converted to Islam in 2020 and she joined CUCUM organization in the same year to learn more about her faith. Viola holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting / Procurement and Supply chain management attained in 2014 from Makerere Business School in Uganda. She recently completed a diploma in Registered Practical Nursing from George Brown College.

Viola has experience working in different settings, environments and age groups. She has vast experience working with children and youth, attained from her current job and her previous work with the students association at George Brown College. Viola currently works at Youthdale Treatment centers, focusing on mental health for children and youth, and also works in hospitals focusing on med surge nursing. 

Viola has a good sense of humor, is compassionate and committed in whatever activity she does. Viola enjoys cooking, reading, taking long walks and doing charity work.
